Who are Boomerangs? 

There are two types of ways to identify a boomerang personal brand. The first is the type of person that likes to ask questions in order to engage. This person is often times a good listener or a community manager. The other boomerang brand type refers to people whose brand is closely identified with controversy. In many cases, they do not necessarily agree with the content-choosing to pass on the information for the potential of being seen as provocative.

Examples of Boomerangs include Shane Smith (Founder of Vice) and comedian Bill Maher.
